A few weeks ago, my bf and I decided to take advantage of the warm weather and go on an adventure. Living in Wiltshire means there are so many beautiful places we can visit on our doorstep, and as I've decided to start finally taking care of my body I've promised myself once a week I'll go walking for at least an hour and take in some good old country air. We'd originally agreed on the White Barrows because it looks so pretty and peaceful and the website had lots of pictures of bunnies ... who doesn't love bunnies right?! Sadly when we got there we realised the track was in fact not Audi proof and there was no where to park, so my bf took us a few miles away to Cley Hill.
So ... when we looked on the website it didn't look too big ... the website was wrong. It only took us half an hour to climb, and we took the longer less steep route, but hot damn did my little legs ache afterwards. But the views were worth it, I'm a country girl through and through, I hate crowded places like London. For me it's all about the woods and grassy hills and Cley Hill had it all. It made for a super lovely day out and anyone who's passing by should definitely stop and have a little wander.
Are there any walks you love to go on? Or places you love spending time at? Feel free to leave a comment!
