My Online Memories
This weekend myself and my boyfriend decided to take our first Autumn walk together and make the most of the crunchy orange leaves that have been flooding the roads and paths recently. So Friday night I googled Woodland Walks in Wiltshire and was totally spoiled for choice with some gorgeous looking walks dotted around. We eventually decided on PepperBox Hill, which was only 5 miles away from us (although we missed the turning and went a few miles out of our way). I'm glad I was so excited to bring out the bobble hat and coat again because up on the hill it was seriously cold! The wind chill really made your face sting, but it didn't take away from the gorgeous views of Salisbury and the surrounding villages. The PepperBox itself was really cool to see as well and looked so cute but also kinda lonely sat up on the hill all alone. Following the trail into the woods was really fun and not only were we out of the wind but there was so many beautiful colours in the trees and we got the feel of the sun on our faces. The woods were so calming to walk through that we just walked for hours with out really noticing the time, and we got to try out our photographer skills too! I would definitely take advantage of the weather before it gets too wet and rainy, I know I plan to. There are so many gorgeous walks across the country and the National Trust has some stunning places for you to visit if you're willing to spend the money. Playing in the leaves and walking through the trees is definitely my favourite part of Autumn! xx
