My Online Memories
Ok so this post is a little bit old but since I had that minor episode of "I hate my life, adulting is too hard!" I kinda forgot to post it. But what a better time to do it thean a whole month later, right?
So back on the first of July my boyfriend took me to our local Pick Your Own farmshop down in Ansty to go berry picking. He'd been promising to do this with me for a year now because last year when we were supposed to go he ended up being busy. Unfortunatley the weather wasn't the best, it was warm but quite breezy which was a bit diasspointing because we'd had a SUPER hot June. But none the less we got picking! Now because it was the first of July, alot of the strawberries hadn't had chance to regrow after the barage of customers they'd had the month before but we did manage to dig deep and find some beauties. When we arrived the woman at the shop had told us that although she didn't have a lot of strawberries, they had A LOT of rasperried ... and boy was she right. Not that I minded as raspberries are my favourite fruit. I also got to finally find out what Loganberries are ... not very nice. Like sour raspberries ... very sour. They had an adorable range of curents but we decided to leave those as you pay by the tub and you're not allowed to mix the fruit so, it was cheaper that way, as I didn't even know what I would put them in! We left with some really lovely stuff, and not just from the gardens. The farm shop itself had some really nice stuff, we left with some fresh veg, eggs and a cheeky banana and fudge flan may have sneaked into our basket too. If you guys have any Pick Your Own's nearby I highly recommend you go check it out, it makes for a really lovely afternoon. Xx
